Lately, I've been trying to avoid the common compositions. Just as I avoided the easy route with Mesa Arch, I decided to experiment a bit with the views in Monument Valley.

This view was simply a view, turning left, from the vista across the valley from Artist's Point.

I loved the delicate shadows in the foreground: all the detail in the dead tree to the right, in particular.
